ONE CONTRACTOR FOR THE WHOLE GARDEN
We’re a landscaping and tree care team run by Connor Fletcher, working across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire from an office in Berkhamsted and a yard at Cholesbury. Twelve years in the trade and over a thousand completed jobs — Chesham and Amersham on the Bucks side, Berkhamsted and Hemel Hempstead on the Herts side, and most of the towns and villages in between.
We started doing both trades because of a gap we kept running into. Landscapers would turn up to build a patio, find a tree in the way, and tell you to go and find a tree surgeon. Tree firms would take the tree down and leave you a stump, a rutted lawn and a pile of arisings for somebody else to sort out. Two trades, two diaries, two invoices, and you stuck in the middle of it.
We do both. The clearing, the tree work, the groundwork and the build are all carried out by the same team, so an overgrown garden full of mature trees can go all the way to a finished space under one contractor and one price. On larger planting schemes we bring in a specialist planter — that’s a craft in its own right and we’d rather use someone who does it every day than pretend otherwise. You’ll always know about it beforehand.
The person who prices your job is the person on site running it. No sales rep, no call centre, no crew you’ve never met turning up on the first morning.
Connor is NPTC qualified for the tree work, we hold a waste carrier licence so everything that comes out of your garden leaves legally, and we carry public liability insurance — we’ll send you the certificate before work starts, and it’s worth asking any contractor for it.
Our approach is deliberately unglamorous: turn up when we said we would, do the work properly, take the rubbish away, and quote a price we intend to stick to. Most of our work comes from people who’ve seen a job we did down the road.

We look before we price
We don’t quote gardens over the phone. A price given blind is either padded to cover the unknowns or goes up once the ground is open. We come and see it first.
Your quotation within 48 hours
A full written breakdown — the works, the materials, a timescale — with you within two days of the visit. Not a number on the back of a card a fortnight later.
Trees and landscaping in one team
Grinding out a stubborn stump before a patio goes down, or reducing a tree that overshadows a new lawn, happens on the same job instead of becoming your problem to coordinate.
Licensed to take the waste
Spoil, turf, arisings and old slabs leave with us and are disposed of legally. If fly-tipped waste is traced back to your address, the liability is yours — not the contractor’s who dumped it.
The quoted price is the price
We don’t come back mid-job asking for more. If something genuinely unforeseen turns up underground, we show you and agree it before carrying on.
